Bringing Joy: The Magic of Christmas Trees at Riverview Pointe

As the holiday season descends upon us, the halls of Riverview Pointe are adorned with the sparkle and warmth of Christmas trees, thanks to the tireless efforts of our beloved Activity Director, Mary. Each year, the spirit of Christmas comes alive at our facility as over 25 beautifully decorated trees are carefully placed in various common areas and mainly in our Multipurpose Room, bringing joy and nostalgia to our residents and spreading the infectious cheer of the season.

The sight of these Christmas trees invokes cherished memories for many of our residents, transporting them back to their own homes and family celebrations. From traditional evergreens adorned with delicate ornaments to whimsical-themed trees, each one tells a story and ignites the spirit of the season in the hearts of those who call Riverview Pointe home.



This year, our team decided to add an extra element of fun and excitement to the festive display by incorporating a beloved holiday tradition—the Christmas pickle. Hidden among the branches of the many trees, the Christmas pickle has become a delightful challenge for our staff, who eagerly search for it, adding an extra layer of merriment and camaraderie to our holiday preparations.

The addition of the Christmas pickle has brought an unexpected source of joy to our team, as they join in the spirited hunt, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories that further strengthen the bonds within our Riverview Pointe family.
