Celebrating Success With Jackie Kostura

Riverview Pointe Care Center wants to give a big shoutout to Jackie Kostura for passing her NCLEX and becoming an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)! We love to celebrate all of our employee's achievements and support them every step of the way through their healthcare journey.

Jackie began her healthcare journey through a vocational program and obtained her STNA certificate after graduating high school. She knew she wanted to make a difference and work in the nursing field with her ultimate goal of becoming an RN. So, she set out to chase her dream and began gaining experience as an STNA.



After working at a local skilled nursing facility for a few years, Jackie joined the Riverview Pointe team in 2016 and was quickly loved by all our residents. Going back to school to obtain her LPN was always the plan for her but it was put on pause while she focused on her new adventure, becoming a mom! She raised two children before happily getting married in 2021 and now has a beautiful family of four kids.

After a year in the LPN program, Jackie passed her classes and NCLEX exam! She is now working as a full-time night shift LPN at Riverview Pointe and said, "I like the people I work with and the residents I serve. I am comfortable here. I am so happy to be starting my nursing career at Riverview Pointe!"

Congratulations, Jackie! We love to watch you grow in your nursing career. We are happy to have you on our team to give excellent care to our residents and have other co-workers look up to you!
