At Riverview Pointe, it's important to us to turn the spotlight onto our amazing residents that we get to work with every day. Getting to know our residents personally is a privilege. They impart invaluable life stories and wisdom, enriching our lives in countless ways. This month, we are delighted to highlight Deborah “DEB” Russ as our Resident of the Month!
Deb's journey is filled with cherished memories alongside her beloved husband, Gus, whom she was married to for 42 wonderful years. Raised in Cleveland, she spent her life surrounded by family, including her brother and sister. From her time as an aide in pediatrics at St. John’s Hospital to her office work at Vandorn, Deb has left her mark on every role she's embraced. Fond memories include caring for neighborhood children, camping trips, and exhilarating days spent at the racetrack with Gus.
In her leisure time, Deb indulges in various hobbies, from painting to volleyball and singing in the chorale club. Yet, it's the camaraderie at Riverview, the joy of participating in activities, and the pampering sessions at Snips and Clips beauty shop that truly light up her days.
It's a pleasure serving you here at our nursing home, Deb! Thank you for being you!
