February Resident of the Month

This month, we are honored to celebrate Lorena Bibb as our February Resident of the Month! Affectionately known as “Lore” by her friends, she has touched the lives of many with her kindness, intelligence, and unwavering strength.



Originally from Robson, West Virginia, Lorena made her way to Ohio in her early twenties, where she built a home filled with love alongside her husband and children. Life threw unexpected challenges her way when she became a young widow, but with resilience and determination, she raised six children on her own—all while working full-time as a file clerk at Cole Consumer.

Despite her demanding schedule, Lorena always made sure her children felt special and loved. Every holiday in their home was nothing short of magical, filled with warmth and joy. She even sewed and made most of their clothes, pouring love into every stitch.

Lorena has always had a sharp mind and a love for math, reading, and crossword puzzles. Her intelligence is undeniable, and those lucky enough to spend time with her know that she tells the best life stories—always with a spark of humor that brings smiles to everyone around her.

At Riverview Pointe, Lorena continues to share her warmth and wisdom with those around her. She loves to socialize, and you can often find her in the lounge on Comfort Lane, working on crossword puzzles and chatting with friends.
