July Resident of the Month
July 13, 2022
Riverview Pointe is happy to introduce our July Resident of the Month, Marlyn Ondrejovich!
Marlyn grew up in Cleveland. When she met her future husband, Michael, she said she didn’t date boys younger than her. So, he went and got his driver's license to prove that he was older. Michael and Marlyn were married for 69 years. They then moved to Columbia Station, where they were for 68 years. Marlyn has five loyal sons that help her with whatever she needs. She is also a grandmother of seven and a great-grandma. Some of her fondest memories with her family growing up were going on camping vacations.

If you know Marlyn, you know she is always cleaning. That's because that's what she did for a living. She also loved to bake and was known for her wedding cakes. When not cleaning or baking, she's embroidering, sewing or reading her bible. Marlyn used to be very involved with her church, always hosting Christmas and Thanksgiving parties with lots of great food.
Marlyn has been here since August of 2021. She enjoys going to our hair stylist, Amy, to get her hair done every week and going to activities every day. Marlyn loves activities so much that she jokes with her family, telling them not to visit or call during that time because she's busy. We're so glad Marlyn has such a great time at our facility.
Congratulations, Marlyn! It's been a pleasure getting to know you more!
