May Employee of the Month

Riverview Pointe is happy to announce our May Employee of the Month, Anjelica “Jelly” Garcia! This month, we are celebrating Anjelica and all the ways that make her a great caretaker!

Anjelica, who also goes by "Jelly,” is a part of our Housekeeping Department and has always gone above and beyond for our residents. She takes the time to talk with them and get to know them. She makes the residents on any unit smile, is a team player and does a great job at cleaning. Another reason Jelly is being recognized as our Employee of the Month is that she always helps out with anything that is needed. She is a very caring person with a big heart!


Jelly moved to North Olmsted, Ohio, almost two years ago. She says she loves the weather here because it doesn’t get dark as early. She’s from Massachusetts and says it gets dark so much earlier there. Jelly’s mom works in a nursing home as an Activity Director in Massachusetts. She has a little sister and a niece and nephew, who she loves spending time with when she can. She was recently reunited with another brother and sister that she didn’t know she had!

Jelly applied to Riverview Pointe to be in a more social environment since she didn't know anyone in Ohio. Since starting her job here, she has made some amazing friends. In her off time, she likes to spend time with her dog, Brooklyn, who’s one year old, and her boyfriend. They enjoy taking walks, having bonfires in the backyard and simply just enjoying life's moments together.

We want to thank Jelly for all her hard work and commitment to our residents. Keep up the great work! Please help us congratulate Jelly for being Riverview Pointe's May Employee of the Month!
