September Resident of the Month

Allow us to introduce our September Resident of the Month, Gloria Kinkelaar! Getting to know and serve our residents at Riverview Pointe is such a privilege. We love learning about their unique journey that's made them who they are today. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their life and care.

Gloria was born in Cleveland and has lived here all her life, but she has always loved to travel. With visits to Las Vegas, Scotland, South Carolina, and Florida, her favorite place to go is Amish Country. She found jobs that allowed her to travel like being a waitress, which allowed for flexible scheduling, and being a truck driver, which fueled her passion even more.



Gloria has been with Bob, her significant other, for 17 years. They grew a family together with two daughters, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. They like to go roller skating, cross-stitch, and sew. Gloria also has a talent for art and has created many beautiful pictures. We love seeing her creations here at the facility!
