Celebrating our Activity Professionals!

Riverview was busy celebrating Activity Professionals Week last week from January 24-28. We wanted to take this opportunity to highlight the team members that make up our incredible Activity Department!


_{Karen - Activities Assistant}

Karen has been with Riverview for over eight months. Before that, she worked in customer service and retail. She enjoys making people smile and having fun, which is why we are so lucky to have her on our team! In her free time, Karen likes to relax and spend time with her grandson. Her favorite activities to do with the residents are Bingo, Keno, and cards because she knows how much they enjoy those games.


_{Linda - Activities Assistant}

Linda started with Riverview as a volunteer in 2007. The first game she hosted was Bingo, a resident favorite. Ten years later, she joined the department as an Activities Assistant and works full-time with our residents. Her favorite activities are dancing with the residents at our music events, balloon toss, and playing Linda’s special Keno game. Thank you for your dedication to our Riverview family Linda. We are lucky to have you with us!


_{Mary - Activities Director}

Rounding out our hardworking team is our Activities Director, Mary! Mary started with Riverview in 2007 in our housekeeping and laundry department and eventually went part-time in Activities as an assistant. In 2016, she became the Activities Director. Mary loves listening to our residents’ life stories and getting to know them and their families. In her free time, she enjoys listening to her son sing and spending time with her friends and family. We are so proud of the longevity of our staff at Riverview Pointe. Thank you, Mary, for your devotion to our residents for the last 14 years!
