September Resident of the Month

We are excited to honor Virginia “Ginny” Homa as our Resident of the Month for September 2024!



Born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Ginny made her way to Ohio with her husband after his military service. She has a beautiful family, including four children, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Known for her amazing home-cooked meals, her children still miss the delicious dishes she used to prepare.

Ginny worked at Big Boy restaurant, a job she enjoyed immensely. She often reminisces about her beloved dog, Cody, and her adventures to Alaska and Nebraska. A die-hard fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Indians, and the Browns, Ginny’s love for sports is clear. She also has a deep love for music, with Country and Motown being her favorites, and you can often find her moving to the beat during our music programs.

Ginny has been a cherished resident of our community for over three years, first living in Pleasant Valley and now calling Serenity Circle home. She enjoys playing Bingo, Uno, and crafting with her fellow residents. You’ll often find her visiting the beauty shop or attending our Friday music programs.
