Celebrating Our Dietary Department

Last week, our Dietary Department enjoyed a catered lunch to celebrate Pride in Foodservice Week. Riverview Pointe takes great pride in serving deliciously prepared meals to each of our residents, thanks to our incredible Dietary Team!



Our Dietary Manager, Leland Jernigan, leads his team by setting high expectations for meal prep and delivery from breakfast to dinner. Our cooks and assistants work hard starting at 5:30 am, preparing fresh meals for that day for 126 residents. They find pleasure and have a passion for offering a flavorful main meal and options for residents with different food preferences. Our Dietary Team always ensures our residents are well-fed and nourished, working with their likes and dislikes.

Leland shared, "I am proud of my team for always working together to make sure our residents have the best-prepared meals every day. Food has such an impact on someone's happiness, and we love to be a part of that." Because of Leland and his team of professionals, our residents' quality of life is so much better.
