February Employee of the Month

Help us recognize our Employee of the Month for February, Shawnmynek Long! Shawnmynek joined our Dietary Department in December 2022 as a Dietary Aide and has since demonstrated remarkable growth, now assisting with cooking tasks. Her dedication and strong work ethic are evident in every shift she works, as she consistently goes above and beyond in her duties.



Shawnmynek is a recent high school graduate and plans to pursue a career as a lawyer, although she enjoys spending her time picking up extra shifts here at Riverview Pointe. In her leisure moments, she enjoys activities like shopping, hitting the gym, and taking walks outdoors, especially when the weather is nice. Additionally, she finds relaxation in watching her favorite shows, including Law & Order and SpongeBob.

Beyond her specific role in the Dietary Department, Shawnmynek's compassionate nature shines through in her interactions with colleagues and residents throughout Riverview. She readily extends a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie.
