Irish Dancers Bring Good Luck to Our Community
March 17, 2023
What a way to kick off St. Patrick's Day! On March 16th, Riverview Pointe, in partnership with Symphony of Olmsted Falls and Bella Care Hospice, hosted a community event at the facility to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Olmsted Falls and neighboring city residents gathered in Riverview's large multipurpose room to enjoy lunch and watch local Irish dancers. Olmsted Falls Mayor, James Graven, even dropped by to check out the event. He said that he looks forward to coming back and visiting our residents!

Dancers from Strongsville's Academy of Irish Dance put on a full dance routine, hosted by their assistant dance instructor. World champion dancers and even a young six-year-old put on an amazing performance that the audience could not stop talking about. These flawless dancers plan on continuing their success to compete in a few weeks in Montreal, Canada.
Lunch was prepared by our Dietary Manager, Leland Jernigan, and was a true Irish classic. Corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and bread were a perfect meal to precede the entertainment. Guests were also able to complete door prize games and win gifts to take home with them!
We are looking forward to making this an annual community event and hope to have the dancers return from The Academy of Irish Dance. Thanks for bringing the luck of the Irish to our residents and staff members at Riverview Pointe!
