October Resident of the Month

This October, we're delighted to introduce Elisabeth "Beth" Garcia as our Resident of the Month! Our commitment to building meaningful relationships with residents like Beth allows us to celebrate their unique stories and personalities. Join us in honoring Beth and her journey to us now at Riverview Pointe.

Beth was born in the Philippines. When she turned 22 years old, she moved to Ohio to live with her sister until her parents could move here. She grew up with and adores her brother and two sisters. Family and faith mean the world to her, and she is proud of both. Beth has been living in the Divine Will of spirituality for 16 years now. She loves to go on religious retreats and travel to spiritual places.



With her love for traveling, Beth has been to 13 different countries, including Rome, Spain, Bahamas, and Mexico to name a few. When in Italy, she saw the Holy Shroud of Jesus, which she'd always dreamed of seeing, and was only six feet away from it. In Manoppello, Italy, she saw the Holy Face of Jesus, and in Medjugorje, she saw many miracles.

Beth's professional background consists of her working for Allstate for 28 years and at McKee in accounting. McKee sponsored her so she could get her green card to become a citizen of the United States of America. After five years, she went to the ceremony to get her American Citizenship with over two hundred others in attendance.

At Riverview Pointe, Beth enjoys going to activities so she can spend time with her new friends. She says everyone here is so generous, kind, patient, and loving to her. Beth always has a smile on her face and positive words to say. The staff and residents love being around her to brighten up their day!
