Riverview Pointe Nurse Honored with Brian Colleran Caregiver Award

Sarah Cochrac has been an RN at Riverview Pointe since 2017. Before becoming a nurse, Sarah gained valuable experience in long term care while working as a caregiver and as a dietary aide
When asked about why Sarah should be nominated for the Brian Colleran's award, her team said,
Sarah is not afraid of a challenge. Her main unit is our rehabilitation unit. Prior to working there, she made her home on Serenity Circle, our memory unit. She exceeds in both levels of care. On her weekends, she holds down the fort as one of our weekend supervisors, keeping operations running smoothly without missing a beat. Sarah is an excellent example of what it means to be a team player. She is very hands-on in her role as a nurse, and it shows. Sarah has excellent follow through and critical thinking skills. She is has a warm bedside manner with her residents, always ensuring they feel welcomed to the new facility.
